Test Assessing Secondary Completion (TASC):
This test is similar in structure to the GED test.  There are sections for writing, reading, math, science, and social studies.  The test also includes an essay, with the remainder primarily multiple choice and short sentences.  The TASC test in not administered at Smithtown Adult Education but at various sites on Long Island.  Our office processes applications for those enrolled in our program.

High School Equivalency classes help you prepare for the TASC.  Pre-High School Equivalency Classes and Adult Basic Education Classes offer individual preparation for those needing to hone basic reading, math, and writing skills.  Readiness TASC testing is offered for those enrolled in our program.
